Where is your office?

For your convenience, I have two offices:

My DC office is located in Downtown Washington, DC:

1629 K Street NW
Suite 300
Washington, DC 20006

My Virginia office is located at the following address:

1530 Wilson Boulevard
Suite 600, Office 638
Arlington, VA 22209

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes, and it’s a game-changer!

For women and moms, virtual therapy means you can get the support you need without leaving your house, wrestling with traffic, or even putting on real pants (sweatpants, pajamas, or yoga leggings are all highly encouraged).

Bonus: No need to coordinate childcare – your kids can play while you get the time and space you deserve.

What are your hours?

I offer weekday sessions with various options to fit your busy schedule.

No 9-to-5 therapist vibes here – we’ll work together to find a time that works best for you, even if your life feels like a constant juggling act.

Select Saturday morning appointments are available as needed.

How long are your sessions?

Initial sessions are 90 minutes.

Regular weekly sessions are 50-60 minutes (the fee is adjusted based on the length).

Can you tell me about your therapy for kids?

Virtual therapy isn’t just for adults. Kids can thrive in online sessions, too! Through video sessions, we use interactive technology, creative play, and engaging activities to help children express their thoughts and emotions in a way that feels natural and fun.

One of the best parts? Your child can bring their favorite toys, stuffed animals, or art supplies right into the session, turning their own space into a safe and familiar therapy environment.

Whether we’re playing, storytelling, or practicing calming strategies together, online therapy allows your child to learn coping skills, build confidence, and manage big feelings – all from the comfort of home.

There’s no need to pack up and rush to an office. Just log in, get comfy, and let the healing happen!

How do I know if my child needs therapy?

Kids don’t usually say, “Mother, I’m feeling emotionally dysregulated.”

Instead, they show it: big feelings, meltdowns, anxiety, trouble making friends, or struggling with change.

If you’re wondering whether therapy could help, it probably can. Let’s chat!

Will therapy work if my child struggles to sit still?

Absolutely! Therapy isn’t a sit-still-and-stare situation. We incorporate movement, play, art, and their favorite toys to make it engaging.

If your child needs to bounce, doodle, or introduce me to their pets mid-session, that’s totally fine. I roll with it!

Can therapy help with mom guilt and burnout?

YES. Mom guilt is a liar, and burnout is not a badge of honor.

Therapy helps you figure out how to set boundaries, let go of the guilt, and stop feeling like you have to do it all (spoiler: you don’t). You deserve support just as much as your kids do.

What if I don’t know what to talk about?

That’s totally fine! Therapy isn’t a pop quiz.

If you show up feeling stuck, I’ll help guide the conversation. Some days, you might have a list of things to unpack. On other days, we might start with, “So, how was your week?” and go from there. No pressure, just support.

Will you just tell me to “breathe and journal” my problems away?

No way. Sure, deep breathing and journaling can be great, but I won’t send you off with a notebook and a pat on the back.

Therapy is about real, practical strategies that fit your life, not fluffy self-care clichés.

Will therapy turn me into a completely different person?

Nope! Therapy is about helping you become more you, with fewer stress-induced meltdowns in the car and more confidence in handling life’s chaos.

Think of it as a mental and emotional tune-up, not a full-on personality swap.

Do you work with men?

Absolutely! While I specialize in working with women, moms, and children, I also welcome men who are looking for support.

Life stress, relationships, parenting challenges, and mental health struggles don’t discriminate by gender, and neither do I!

So, if you’re a dad navigating parenting stress, a partner working through relationship challenges, or just someone looking for tools to feel more balanced and in control, you’re in the right place. Therapy is for everyone, and I’m here to help!

What happens in the first session?

It’s like a low-pressure coffee chat, except you don’t have to make small talk about the weather.

We’ll talk about what’s bringing you (or your child) to therapy, what you need support with, and how we can work together to make life feel more manageable.

Is it weird to cry in therapy?

Not at all! Crying in therapy is basically a rite of passage. Plus, I’ve got the therapist’s nod of understanding perfected.

Whether you cry, laugh, or do both at the same time (it happens), you’re in a space where all emotions are welcome.

How do I get started?

Super simple! Just book a consultation, send me a message, call the office, or if you’re feeling extra, hire a carrier pigeon (kidding… sort of).

No long questionnaires, no complicated steps…

Just reach out, and we’ll figure out the best way to get started. Therapy should feel approachable, not overwhelming, and I’m here to make the process as easy as possible. Let’s do this!
